There is really only ONE thing that every human being desires. Without knowing it, that ONE thing is implanted in our soul before we are born. It was put there to help guide us through life on earth and help us remember who we are. When I had my near-death experience, I saw my daughter Maria who has special needs and does not speak. But in the spiritual realm, she spoke three words to me that changed my life forever. I share those three magic words below in an excerpt from the chapter, Into The Ethereal, in my book: Quarks of Light, A Near-Death Experience;

Now I see Maria. She is perfect and whole, staring at me with eyes filled with light. This is not the kind of light we see in the natural world, but a spirit of light that animates all life. She has a knowing smile on her face and it is the same smile I have seen so many times in our darkest moments together. I immediately recognize that smile. This moment confirms what I sensed in the physical realm.

When I see this smile again here, I know a truth at once. This smile has been a clue that she has always been perfect in the spiritual realm. Even through all the dark times she wasn’t suffering in spirit. Now I am communicating with her in the unspoken language of the Ethereal, asking her:

Please speak to me, I have never heard your voice. How I long to know your thoughts and your personality, to hear you say just once, ‘I love you, Daddy.’ Maria, I don’t know what to do when you’re having seizures. How do I comfort you? We have tried everything to heal you; what more can we do?

Maria replies in a silent voice; Just love me.

For the first time in my life, I feel free, forgiven, and unburdened.

I speak into the vastness and I hear my own voice echo back to me: I never want to leave this place.
